KEEPERsport Aqua Goalkeeper Gloves for Rainy Weather

Grip that really comes into its own in the rain.

On some match days, it’s not the opposition that makes the difference, but the rain. The 4mm Aqua Claw is designed precisely for these days: a grip foam that stays tacky when wet, where other grip foams have long since lost their grip – whatever the season, the only thing that matters is whether it’s wet or dry. The new Aqua Gloves collection features it in the Hero and Champ ranges, in a clean white design with blue accents on the back of the hand.

It’s no coincidence that even professionals rely on this very grip foam in the rain, because when the ball is wet, only one thing matters: that you still have a grip.

KEEPERsport Aqua Claw: the goalkeeper’s glove for rainy days

Two collections, one mission: to keep a firm grip when no one else does

Why two models instead of one? Because rain affects every goalkeeper, regardless of cut or price point. The Aqua Gloves collection features the same 4mm Aqua Claw on two models: the Hero Elite Power for maximum ball contact in a hybrid cut, and the Champ Elite NC for a snug, precise fit in a negative cut. Both come in the same white design with blue accents.

The best choice in wet playing conditions. That’s exactly what the KEEPERsport Aqua collection is designed for.

Our best surface, reliable in all weathers

The 4mm Aqua Claw is the best grip foam in our range and can be used all year round, in sunshine or rain. However, it really comes into its own when conditions get wet: spring showers, a waterlogged pitch in autumn or a single rainy match day in the middle of summer – that’s when it delivers the grip that other adhesive foams have long since lost.

That’s why the Aqua Gloves collection belongs in every goalkeeper’s kit bag: suitable for use all year round, but at its very best precisely when it gets wet.

Rain is just an excuse for everyone else.

KEEPERsport Aqua models: the best choice in wet weather

Designed for use even in the rain

A good grip on your hands is half the battle. The KEEPERsport GK Top RainSkin is the perfect addition to your complete rain kit: lightweight, water-repellent without becoming waterlogged, and featuring stretch panels under the armpits that won’t tear during intense training. Available in long-sleeved or short-sleeved versions, for goalkeepers who want to stay agile even in pouring rain.

And if your latex gloves still need a bit more grip despite Aqua Claw: KEEPERsport Aqua Glue is the grip booster to finish off, with absolutely no drying time. Apply a pea-sized amount to the palm of your hand just before kick-off or at half-time, and even soaked latex will grip the ball noticeably better.

The 4mm Aqua Claw is featured in more than just these two pairs of gloves

The same adhesive foam is also used in other models in our range, which feature different cuts and constructions but offer the same reliable grip.

Are Aqua gloves only suitable for rainy days?

No. The Aqua Claw Latex can be used all year round on any damp surface, whether in January or July. It is not the time of year that matters, but wet conditions.

What is the difference between Hero Elite Power AQUA and Champ Elite NC AQUA?

Both feature the same 4mm Aqua Claw latex. The Hero Elite Power has a hybrid cut and is strapless, for maximum ball contact. The Champ Elite NC has a tighter fit, with a negative cut, for maximum ball control and a snug, precise fit.

Do the Aqua gloves need to be looked after any differently from usual?

No, the usual care instructions for gloves apply here too: wash them after each use and leave them to air-dry; do not place them on a radiator or in direct sunlight.

When should I use Aqua Glue instead of just wearing the Aqua gloves on their own?

If, despite using Aqua Claw, the latex isn’t providing enough grip on the day – for example, in continuous rain or if the gloves have been in use for some time – Aqua Glue provides an extra bit of grip just before kick-off, with no drying time at all.

Always stay up to date.
