The Nike Mercurial Superfly 11 Elite FG from the Scorpion Pack: the limited special edition of the fastest Superfly Nike has ever built.

The one-piece FlyWeave Ultra upper weaves FlyKnit fibres together with stabilising Flywire cables, the Nike ACC coating keeps your ball control constant in the wet and in the dry. The ankle-free low cut leaves the joint full freedom, the Seatbelt system locks the foot down across two zones. The soleplate carries a nitrogen-filled Air Zoom airbag with 23 percent more energy return than its predecessor. Venomous looks, timed for the biggest stage of the summer.

THE KEEPER CHECK
The airbag pays off on the first step from a standing start, when you have to rush out in a one-on-one. The thin FlyWeave Ultra gives you a direct feel on goal kicks, the reinforced U-shape heel counter keeps you stable through saves. The Mercurial is also worn by Odysseas Vlachodimos, Serbia's Vanja Milinkovic Savic and Austria's Patrick Pentz.

UPPER
FlyWeave Ultra: an ultra-thin, one-piece knitted speed upper from the Mercurial line with an integrated tongue. FlyKnit fibres and stabilising Flywire cables are woven straight in. The Nike ACC coating (All Conditions Control) delivers constant ball control in any weather.

COLLAR
Low cut: ankle-free for full range of motion, Nike deliberately left out the tall collar.

OUTSOLE
FG outsole for firm, dry natural grass: an anatomically arranged mix of chevron and blade studs. The soleplate carries a nitrogen-filled Air Zoom airbag with 23 percent more energy return than its predecessor.

INSOLE
Two to swap between: a ZoomX insole borrowed from running for reactive cushioning, plus a 4 g lighter one for a more direct ground feel.

CLOSURE
Classic lacing, plus the Seatbelt system across two zones for a locked-in fit.
