Standard latex performs well on damp grass, but loses grip noticeably in hot weather, on hard artificial turf and in dusty conditions. Grip Glue has been developed specifically to address this shortcoming and provides grip where standard latex performance reaches its limits.
✅ Activates maximum grip precisely when dry air and hard surfaces would otherwise limit
latex performance ✅ Short curing time after application – allow
for this in good time before kick-off ✅ Works regardless of the type of latex used in the gloves
Designed for real-world playing conditions
In practice, dry conditions are the rule rather than the exception: summer matches, heated indoor halls, dry artificial turf in winter. Grip Glue is designed precisely for these everyday situations, not just for extreme cases.
✅ Ideal for artificial turf, indoor surfaces and dry natural grass pitches
✅ Stays effective even under prolonged use for over 90 minutes
✅ No sticking or residue left on the latex surface
Grip Glue isn’t a product for every match, but for the conditions in which it’s really needed. If you use it selectively, rather than making it part of your regular routine, you’ll get the most out of both your gloves and the product.
✅ Plan to use it in dry weather, hot conditions or on hard surfaces; allow
for a short curing time after application ✅ Not necessary in damp or wet conditions – Aqua Glue
is suitable for these situations ✅ Adapt to the actual game situation, not to a fixed schedule
Grip Glue vs. bulk sprays
Grip Glue has been specially developed for goalkeeper’s latex, rather than being a generic sports or gymnastics grip spray, as is the case with most mass-produced products. Whilst standard sprays leave residues that become lodged in the pores of the latex and permanently clog them, KEEPERsportGrip Glue ensures consistent grip throughout the entire match, without the need for annoying re-spraying. Mass-market sprays lose their effectiveness quickly and, over time, tend to dry out the latex rather than nourish it. They also attract dust and dirt, which further reduces grip and shortens the glove’s lifespan. Grip Glue, on the other hand, is part of the KEEPERsport Care System and was developed in collaboration with Glove Glu, the market leader in grip technology; as such, it nourishes the latex rather than merely providing a short-term coating.
A thin layer of Grip Glue on a dry palm is all you need to achieve the desired effect. Using too much product offers no additional benefit; on the contrary, a thick layer can impair your feel for the ball and cause the pores in the latex to stick together, rather than supporting them. It is best to apply a thin layer 5 to 10 minutes before kick-off so that the formula can take full effect, and to wash the gloves thoroughly after the match to prevent any residue from building up.
Grip Glue does not stand alone, but fills the final gap in the KEEPERsport Care System. Together with Glove Cleaner and Aqua Glue, the system covers every weather condition and every care requirement.
✅ Glove Cleaner: daily basic care and latex reactivation
✅ Aqua Glue: grip booster for rain and wet conditions
✅ Grip Glue: grip activator for dry and harsh conditions
