Standard latex loses its grip in wet conditions precisely when it is needed most. A wet ball slips across standard latex surfaces, and it is often in these situations that the match is decided. Aqua Glue has been developed specifically for these conditions and provides grip where standard latex reaches its limits.
✅ Water-repellent formula adheres even to thoroughly soaked latex surfaces
✅ No drying time; ready
for use immediately after application ✅ Works regardless of the type of latex used in the glove
Designed for real-world playing conditions
Rain rarely comes with warning. Whether it’s persistent rain, a brief shower at half-time or a pitch that remains damp all winter long: Aqua Glue is designed to cope with the full range of wet conditions, not just extreme cases.
✅ Ideal for matches in the rain, the winter season and persistently damp pitches
✅ Works even when the weather changes suddenly during a match
✅ Not a miracle cure for heavy, persistent rain, but it makes all the difference in wet conditions
Aqua Glue isn’t a product for every match, but for precisely those conditions in which it’s really needed. If you use it specifically in wet conditions, rather than making it part of a fixed routine, you’ll get the most out of both your gloves and the product.
✅ Use in rain, wet conditions or on damp pitches
✅ Not necessary in dry weather – Grip Glue
takes over in these conditions ✅ Adapts to the actual weather conditions, not to a fixed schedule
Aqua Glue vs. products containing Vaseline
Aqua Glue has been specially developed for wet goalkeeper’s latex, unlike standard care products available from chemists, such as those containing Vaseline. Whilst Vaseline leaves an oily film on the latex, which tends to reduce grip on the ball, Aqua Glue provides genuine tackiness on wet surfaces, with no waiting time at all. Furthermore, products containing petroleum jelly are almost impossible to wash out completely; residues build up with every use and, in the long term, damage the latex. Furthermore, they attract dust and dirt, which further reduces grip and shortens the glove’s lifespan. Aqua Glue, on the other hand, is part of the KEEPERsport Care System and washes out without leaving any residue; consequently, it cares for the latex rather than damaging it in the long term.
A fingertip’s worth of Aqua Glue is more than enough to achieve the best results. Using too much of the product does not provide any extra grip; on the contrary, a layer that is too thick can impair your feel for the ball and is more difficult to wash out completely afterwards. Simply rub a fingertip’s worth into the palm of your hand – that’s it; it’s ready to use with no drying time required. After the match, clean your gloves as usual with KEEPERsport Glove Cleaner to prevent any residue from building up.
Aqua Glue isn’t a stand-alone product; it forms part of the KEEPERsport Care System, specifically covering the ‘wet’ aspect. Together with Glove Cleaner and Grip Glue, it caters for all weather conditions and care requirements.
